I would be remiss if I did not write a blog for all those who visit my website, to tell you how you can give your life to the God of Creation.

First, to be saved, you must recognize your need of a Savior, because without Him, we are headed for complete separation from God for all eternity in hell.

Second, realize your need to repent to a Holy God who sent His Son to die in your place so that you might have life with Him forever. All of this is based upon numerous scriptures in the Bible, God’s Holy Word. Here are a few of them.

2 Corinthians 7:9 Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance…  10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation…but the sorrow of the world produces death. 

Romans 2:4…the goodness of God leads you to repentance.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Luke 15:7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

Luke 5 :32 I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.

Luke 3:8 Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance.

Third, if you are recognizing your desperate need of God, understand this revelation comes by the drawing of the Holy Spirit. Do not put Him off, for we never know how many times we will “feel” this gentle, sometimes powerful, urging from Him. He is the third person of the triune God (Father, Son & Holy Ghost). He is your creator, and scripture plainly tells us He will not always strive with a person. If you continue to put Him off, you may die in the next moment, and then where would you be? You would be in hell my friend. Isaiah 55:6 Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

PRAY & ASK THE LORD JESUS TO SAVE YOU: Dear Lord, I ask you in the Name of Jesus Christ, your only begotten son to forgive me. I repent of all my sins, known and unknown. Please wash me clean by the blood of Jesus He shed for me at Calvary. Holy Spirit please lead me so that I may please the Father. Purify my mind of wicked thoughts. Purify my lips so that my speech pleases you. Convict me from listening to anything that wounds you. Protect my eye-gates that I might not watch what grieves Holy Spirit and cleanse my hands of doing the works of darkness. From this day forward, lead my steps to follow you. I declare that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sins and the blood of Jesus cleanses me from all unrighteousness. I confess that I am a new creation. Old things have passed away and all things have become new in my life. Therefore, I no longer walk in condemnation, shame and guilt. I am clothed in the righteousness of Christ Jesus! Thank you Lord.

WHAT NOW: Spend a dedicated time with the Lord every day & do the following:

  1. Rejoice in the Lord and be thankful
  2. Worship Him
  3. Read the Word of God
  4. Keep a journal & write down the date and what Holy Spirit reveals to you
  5. Repent as Holy Spirit reveals sin in your life on a daily basis
  6. Continually Forgive others & don’t hold grudges
  7. Put on your armor every day according to Ephesians 6:10-18
  8. Fellowship with other Believers
  9. Share your testimony with others
  10. Give of your finances to help widows, orphans, your church group or to ministers who are spiritually feeding you

Please know, this is not a religious ritual, but a precious time apart with your Lord. Lean your head on His chest like a child and listen to His heartbeat. He wants to talk to you. He wants to reveal to you who you are in Him. He wants you to know without a doubt that you are accepted, that you are a child of the most High God and nothing can separate you from his love.
